JORDAN MARCZAK

I was born in Lunenburg and grew up in Chester Basin, Nova Scotia, and have lived in Nova Scotia my entire life. I’ve always embraced the outdoors, finding as many ways as possible to trudge through the woods to magical destinations or soak in the ocean view. I’ve always played sports, from soccer, baseball and skateboarding in the Summer to Freestyle Skiing in the winter. Learning and coaching in sports has taught me to observe the body in motion and apply learned motion to myself and my work.

I graduated from DaVinci College, formerly the Centre for Arts and Technology, with a degree in 3D Animation in 2007. I’ve since returned to teach a 3D Animation course to students there, to share what I’ve learned and inspire my future peers.

I’m well-versed in multiple production pipelines, from mobile game development to Virutal Reality based applications. I’ve used a variety of software packages and designed pipelines for various different projects. I take a lot of pride in finding solutions for production problems. While I tend to focus primarily on Animation and Rigging, I’ve produced work in every 3D Art capacity and feel confident in my ability to adapt to whatever task I am given. This has led me to further expand my skillset and begin learning coding and development methods to further expand my contributions.
